Which wallets work?

Any browser extension announcing itself via EIP-6963; MetaMask, Phantom, Rabby, Coinbase Wallet, and others; plus WalletConnect for mobile wallets. Connecting signs nothing.

Does burning $SIGNAL create a token or pool for my frequency?

No. It registers your specification in Signal's database, verified against your on-chain burn. The factory, which would create your frequency's own token and pool, is not deployed yet.

Do I own the sound a frequency produces?

Not the continuous output. A Release; a bounded tick range with a documented edit log published under a name; is the part that may be independently protectable.

Can I verify a frequency without using Signal?

Yes. The specification, seed, step-function commit, and checkpoint hashes are all published. Replay is free and open; you can re-run the whole process yourself.

What happens when a runtime escrow empties?

The frequency stalls. Ticks stop, the state is preserved at the last checkpoint, and the record stays replayable. A refill resumes it.

Why is provenance mandatory?

Because the distinction between sourced material and the creator's own choices is what makes a claim of authorship meaningful. Launches without it are refused.
